Residents of Karwamba Village Eat Buffalo's Meat After KWS Officers Killed it.

On Tuesday 2nd of February, residents of Karwamba village from Tharaka Nithi county turned the day into a celebration after a buffalo which invaded their village was shot dead by the KWS officers and everyone rushed to have a piece to eat.

The buffalo fell in a pit at a certain school causing stress and fear to the children and villagers. This forced the residents to call the Kenya wildlife service officers from meru. When the officers arrived they had no option than killing the animal.

Karwamba residents accused the animal of destroying their crops and also accused the officers of taking too long to respond when they are called upon to help. Due to this, they said that they will take law into their hands.
