Here Are Reasons Why Kenyans Have Hothing to Smile About this Mashujaa Day celebration.

It's a day which comes once per calender year. A day that we celebrate people who have made our country proud and also Kenyans who saved our country from colonialist. Those who strived and used all their effort to see that Kenya is a free country. Yes, these are the people behind the peaceful and fresh environment that we are enjoying today. 20th October is the day we celebrate these heroes. However, today many Kenyans are not happy like other days when we celebrate this day.

This is the day when people unite together eat, share long gone but unforgettable stories and many other issues. This is not possible due to the high cost of living in our country. This has been brought about by high level of corruption and misuse of public money. Kenyans are very annoyed by this act. The people we elected are busy using our money to benefit themselves.

Teachers also are crying due to nonpayment of September salary. This has made some of them look for other ways to get income. Some have started bodaboda business and other have also committed suicide after life turned out to be too had to survive. The situation in our schools is worsening as days go. This is not the situation that our heroes expected their country to be in when they were struggling to fight for the freedom of Kenya.

If one of them ressurects today, he will die out of shock over what he/she will find in Kenya. A country where a wheelbarrow goes for more than sh100, 000, a bar of soap cost more than sh50, 000, Curtains cost millions of Kenya shillings, facebook account is opened for more than 100k andmany more unrealistic transactions. This is why I am telling you that we should have nothing to celebrate this Mashujaa day else we should wondering where our country is ending to.
